The only lineup change for the Bruins was Emory Sparrow replaced Bobby Rowe for this one. The Tigers wasted no time scoring as Charlie Langlois scored just 3:25 into the game. That ended up being the only goal of the period as Hamilton headed into the break up 1-0.
"What kind of demolition is this?" - SparrowThe game went south quickly for the Bruins as Ken Randall scored twice two minutes apart to essentially ice the game, one of the goals on the power play. The Bruins did get one back when Smokey Harris scored his third goal of the season with 4:10 remaining but the Bruins went into intermission down 3-1.
Harris kept them in the gameThe third period was straight destruction by Hamilton as Billy Burch scored just 55 seconds into the period. Red Green scored two minutes into the period to turn the game into a rout. Randall then earned the hat trick with 5:10 remaining in the third and Mickey Roach hit the exclamation point goal with 2:20 left in the game. That was mercifully it as the Tigers had won the game 7-1.

Reaction:
Good grief what a beating the Bruins took. Hamilton is one of the best teams in the league and they proved it tonight. The Bruins had no answer for Ken Randall or any of the Tigers really. Emory Sparrow picked quite a hornet's nest to walk into for his first game with the Bruins. Maybe Bobby Rowe is happy he didn't get to play tonight. Its only one game but starting the season 1-3 with just 26 games left is not ideal. I don't know what Art Ross can do besides make a trade or find someone playing semi-pro to help the defense. Five days from now the Bruins return home to play the Ottawa Senators, maybe they'll have better luck in that game.
